Daangn Biz Profile: How to Create One and Verify Your Business

Daangn Biz Profile is a business-only profile inside the Daangn app (Korea's largest hyperlocal marketplace, also known as Karrot). It lets a shop introduce itself and talk with neighbors, and it is free from signup to use. The official user guide (checked on October 3, 2026; no revision date is shown) says to tap [Create Biz Profile] under [My Daangn], then enter the name and business type, address, photo and intro, and contact info in that order. Business verification is not required to create a profile. But booking, quote, product sales, and takeout order features only work after verification is complete.

What Daangn Biz Profile is

Biz Profile is a service for running and promoting a shop on Daangn. Just creating one puts your shop in many places of the app that neighbors visit often. You then pick only the features you need, such as news posts, coupons, and regular customer (danggol) management.

It serves a different purpose from Daangn ads. A Biz Profile is the shop's introduction page. Ads have a separate campaign that promotes your Biz Profile. Brand headquarters with many branches use Brand Profile, which manages branch information and promotions in one place.

How to create a Daangn Biz Profile in 5 steps

In the app, go to [My Daangn] → [Create Biz Profile]. On a computer, start from Register my business on Daangn Business. The input fields follow the same order as the official guide.

1. Start: Tap the [Create Biz Profile] button to begin. One account can directly create up to 3 Biz Profiles.
2. Name and business type: The name can be up to 30 characters. Use the real business name shown on your signboard or in your company name. Choose the business type from the suggested categories or search for it. Searching by the item listed on your business registration certificate or by a service you offer makes it easier to find.
3. Location: Search for the address, add the detailed address, then adjust the pin on the map. If you have no storefront for visitors, choose [I have no address]. In that case, neighbors see you based on your activity area.
4. Profile photo and intro: Add a main profile photo and an intro text. The intro text also appears in search results. The official guide says your Biz Profile is shown to customers only after you fill in this information.
5. Contact and extra info: Both are optional. For phone numbers you can use the safe-number feature. Extra info is offered only for some business types, and the fields differ by type.

After creating the profile, fill in shop photos on the [Photos] tab of the Biz Profile home. You can upload up to 20 photos at once, and pin 2 of them as main photos so they show first on the [Photos] tab and at the top. How to check that it was created correctly

Open the Biz Profile home and check that the intro text, address, photos, and business hours appear as you entered them. If the address is valid, it is also reflected on the neighborhood map. Search for your shop name on the Daangn neighborhood map. If it appears in the results, your exposure has started.

Do you need business verification for Daangn Biz Profile

There is no business verification in the creation steps. You apply for it separately later. The business verification guide divides the cases that need verification as follows.

This is not an official rule, but if you plan to use ads or booking features, applying for verification while you create the profile means fewer chances of submitting documents again.

How to apply for business verification

The required document is the business registration certificate. Industry-specific permit documents and supporting material explaining the location or business name are submitted only when they apply. Check two things before you apply.

• Representative and owner: The representative on the business registration certificate and the Biz Profile owner must be the same person. If an employee applies, you need a power of attorney and a seal certificate from the representative.
• Matching information: The Biz Profile name, address, and category must match the business registration certificate. If they differ, submit proof of the relationship together with supporting material.

After you apply, the review result arrives by chat within 1 to 3 business days. If it is rejected, check the reason under [View rejection reason] at the top of the Biz Profile home, then apply again. When approved, the information you registered appears under [Business registration certificate and verification info] below [Intro] on the Biz Profile home. If you see this item, verification is complete.

How to use the free Daangn Biz Profile features

Shop management features, including writing news, issuing coupons, and managing regular customers, are free to use. Each feature has its own placement and limits.

News is the feature for promoting your shop without ad spend. Posted news appears for free in the home feed between secondhand listings and in neighborhood map search results. The home feed shows a selection of news written in the last week that neighbors may find interesting. You can also deliver news directly to regular customers by notification, and the regular customer guide explains that the more regular customers you have, the more reliably your news reaches people.

Getting quotes, managing bookings, selling products, takeout orders, and chat orders are offered separately as business tools, and business verification must come first. Product sales are limited to some business types (food sales).

Daangn Biz Profile admin invites and permissions

According to the owner and admin guide, the account that created the Biz Profile automatically becomes the owner. The owner and admins can equally edit info, write news, answer chats, reply to reviews, run ads, and invite admins. Only the owner can revoke admin permissions, delete the Biz Profile, and transfer owner permissions.

One account can directly own up to 3 profiles and, by accepting invites, manage up to 10. An owner cannot quit managing on their own, so they must hand owner permissions to another admin first. Manage invites and permissions in the app under [Manage Biz Profile] → top right [≡] → [Manage admins], or on PC under [Settings] → [Manage admins].

Common mistakes when creating a Biz Profile

• Decorating the business name freely: The name must be the real business name shown on your signboard or in your company name. Under operating policy it can be edited or penalized. If the name, address, and category differ from the business registration certificate, you must submit supporting material at verification, so write them exactly as on the certificate from the start.
• Forcing in an address when you have no shop: If you have no storefront for visitors, choose [I have no address] and set the neighborhood where you mainly operate as your activity area.
• Leaving the owner account to an employee: If an employee is the owner, you need a power of attorney and a seal certificate at verification. Owners and admins can do almost the same things (this is the author's suggestion, not an official rule). So create the profile with the representative's account and invite employees as admins. You can then verify without a power of attorney.

How do I delete a Daangn Biz Profile?

Deletion can be done only by the owner. Admins do not have this permission. If the owner has left Daangn, prepare a business registration certificate that matches the Biz Profile info, the representative's ID, the originally registered mobile phone number, and a carrier subscription or cancellation certificate, then submit them to customer support.

Can I create a Biz Profile without a business registration certificate?

The input steps in the official creation guide do not include a business registration certificate. If you have no shop, you set an activity area and start. However, mail-order sales, mobile phone sales, and real estate brokerage are restricted without verification, and tools such as booking and quotes also need verification.

Can I change the Biz Profile name and address later?

According to the Biz Profile home guide, if you have not registered business information, you can change the name and address once every 30 days. For a profile that has completed registration, change requests are reviewed before they are applied. The business type goes through review whether or not you have registered.
